Volunteers are the Heart and Soul of Our Mission
The Driving Force Behind Everything We Do
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Café of Life. Without them we could not survive. Who are they? They are ordinary people with extraordinary hearts, who believe that no one should go without life's most basic necessities. Through their willingness to "care, share, and serve" their fellow man they bring hope and dignity to countless lives.
Since 2024, more than 16,000 volunteers generously donated over 61,000 hours of service. They shopped for groceries, prepared and served meals, provided leadership on our Board of Directors, organized special events such as the distribution of Thanksgiving meals and the distribution of Christmas gifts to children and families. Their selfless service also extends beyond meeting immediate needs by enriching lives through sewing lessons, music lessons, crafts, gardening classes, health education classes, and soccer programs, helping clients develop practical skills, build confidence, and improve their overall well-being. Our volunteers' selfless service has touched every aspect of our mission.
We are profoundly grateful for each volunteer whose time, talent, and compassion make our work and our impact possible.
