People Who Serve…

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Café of Life. Without them we could not survive. Who are they? People just like you – concerned that in a “society of plenty” there are those who face each day without the potential fulfillment of the most basic of human needs. In essence, these volunteers “care, share and serve” their fellow man!

In 2017, our more than 500 volunteers donated 12,900 hours by shopping for groceries, preparing and serving meals, serving on the Board of Directors, arranging special events such as Thanksgiving and Christmas luncheons, and “lending a helping hand” to anything and everything in meeting the nutritional and supplemental needs of our clients.
